Several weeks ago I commissioned Colin Richards, one of our favorite monster artists, to design and draw some more giant monsters. In Ascension Epoch, the name for such creatures is Boojum. Boojum was originally an emergency code word used to designate an unusual threat that cannot be successfully defeated through normal means. Over time, it has come into popular usage as a label for the gigantic, incomprehensible monsters that periodically rise from the depths of the earth or sea to reduce human cities to poisoned rubble. Here are two very different Boojum that have recently terrorized humanity.
